Thanks to the hard work of the group that call themselves the Camp Tiger Benefit Group, the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off was a huge success! Members Terry Heffern, Bob Moushon, Paula Pendleton, Joe Jones, and Tracie Amos, with the help of LSUHSC Professor Dr. David DeSha, planned and coordinated a Chili Cook-Off at Fud’s Restuarant on October 24, 2009. Combining the cook-off entrance fees, plate sales, and raffle tickets, the group was able to raise $5,000 for Camp Tiger 2010. They presented a check to the Camp Tiger Planning Committee, topping last year’s donation of $3,800.Thank you to everyone who participated in the Chili Cook-Off. Your support is greatly appreciated!
